Business-strike Eisenhower dollars 1971–1978 are clad. Melt is copper plus nickel. They are large — do not confuse one with a golden Presidential dollar (brass, ~8 g) or a 1 oz Gold Buffalo (~31 g).
Collector “brown box / blue pack” Ikes are 40% silver. That is a different type page. If it looks gold, it is usually aftermarket plating on this clad coin.
