Is melt what I can sell the coin for?
Not always. Melt is only the metal. A rare date or a nice grade can be worth more. A damaged common coin is often near melt. This site answers the metal question.
Why isn’t every date and mintmark listed?
The silver or gold in the coin does not change by mintmark. A 1921-S Morgan and an 1881-O Morgan have the same melt. Search the type: Morgan dollar, 1964 quarter, war nickel.
Do you have Canada and world coins?
Yes. Canadian silver years and Maple Leafs, Mexican pesos (including 250 peso gold commemoratives), sovereigns, Krugerrands, and other common world gold and silver. Type the name in search.
Is this a Greysheet price?
No. Greysheet is a dealer guide for collector markets. Melt is mint weight times today’s metal price. We do not sell Greysheet.
Can I get an email if prices move?
Yes. On this page you can watch gold, silver, platinum, or palladium. On a coin’s page you can watch that coin’s melt. We email you if it goes above or below the number you set.
